[00:00:00.0]
Let's talk about the navigator.
[00:00:03.0]
The navigator is a way that you can organize your slide. It's here on the left side. In order to work with this,
[00:00:12.0]
you may want to open up this particular lesson. This is your navigator and these are the slides in your navigator.
[00:00:18.0]
I can click on a slide within my navigator, and you make sure your navigator is turned on.
[00:00:27.0]
If I click on one side and move up and over,
[00:00:32.0]
it will actually indent my slide - meaning that there are two slides are grouped together.
[00:00:37.0]
If I move it outside, they are not together.
[00:00:41.0]
It's a separate slide.
[00:00:42.0]
So you can group slides together for your organization.
[00:00:46.0]
Here is the Inspector.
[00:00:48.0]
This is the Slide Inspector. We're going to click that, and you see there are different masters that
[00:00:55.0]
you can choose for your particular slide.
[00:00:57.0]
What I'm going to do is hold down Shift and select all three slides.
[00:01:02.0]
And from the bottom of our slide inspector, I'm going to choose a actual image to fill all these slides.
[00:01:11.0]
And now I want to choose a transition.
[00:01:14.0]
Transition is a special effect in between slides.
[00:01:17.0]
And I'm going to select twirl, and I can control the speed of the transition as well.
[00:01:23.0]
If I click play, here's your slide, if we, click it twirls out and twirls in.
[00:01:29.0]
2nd slide, click again, twirls out and twirls in, and that's the 3rd slide.
[00:01:36.0]
Now we click to exit the presentation.
[00:01:38.0]
So if I want to change my transitions, I have to select all the slides by holding down Shift,
[00:01:45.0]
choose the proper transition, and go ahead and click play again.
[00:01:49.0]
Slide 1, slide 2, click again and slide 3.
[00:01:56.0]
Now, what we're actually going to take look at is the navigator close up.
[00:02:05.0]
I can click on one slide and move it to the top.
[00:02:09.0]
Now, it's out of order, and I can click on the 3rd slide and move it to the middle.
[00:02:14.0]
And you can drag and drop the order of your slides.
[00:02:19.0]
So, the navigator is very important.
[00:02:20.0]
You can hide the navigator from the view menu.
[00:02:23.0]
